Awards

        BPA has received a number of awards for its service to help blind and mentally ill people. It includes both organizational as well as individual awards. Organizational awards are for organization as a whole while individual awards are for contribution from  one person to help the society.

	Government Of Gujarat Award - Nikhil  Nanavati, Mentally Retarded, working as an Attendant with BPA
	Government Of Gujarat Award - Rajesh Seth, deaf blind who has been helped to set up a sweet shop by the deaf blind Project.
	Government Of Gujarat Award - Yagnesh Modi, Blind , who has been trained as a Physiotherapist at the BPA and who now works at Palanpu
	Government Of Gujarat Award - Manjibhai Teacher in the Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools for the Blind was given the Gujarat State Award for Best Teacher.
	Mr. Jasubhai Kavi the Director, Education was conferred the 2006 Global Human Rights Protection Award at the 8th World Human Rights Congress by the Indian Institute of Human Rights on 10th Dece.,2006 at New Delhi.
	Mr. Praksh J.Mankodi ,Member of Blind People's Association and Secretary of the National Association for the Blind, Jamnagar Branch was conferred the Rustam Merwanji Alpaiwala Award at national Association for the Blind, Mumbai on 19th January,2007
	JAGDISH K. PATEL AWARD - Prof. Bhaskar Y. Mehta, Executive Member of BPA and Secretary of NAB, Sabarkhantha District Branch was Conferred the "Jagdish K.Patel Pragnachakshu Pratibha Paritoshik" on 14th September,2006
	In the every first year Kachchh Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center took away The National Award for Barrier Free Environment. This award was received by the Director of KCRC Dr. Gyaneshwar Rao by the Hon. President Shri. A. P. J. Abdul Kalaam.
	Preity Zinta conferred the Silver Award for Bravery on the Blind People’s Association in a glittering function held in Hotel Sheraton Rajputana at Jaipur on 20th  June, 2007.  This Award was given to the BPA for exceptional Acts of courage. Mr. F.J.Porwal. Secretary and Mr. H.M.Panchal Director (Training) of the BPA were present in
	Mrs. Sudha Joshi In charge Principal of BPA s conferred the Excellent Educator Award by Eklavya Education Foundation on 4th sep 2010.
