4^th January is known  as Louis Braille’s Day-Birth day of the Legend who invented Braille script and opened the doors of  the world of books for the blind. The 30 seconds quickie shows technological advancement in Braille since its invention.

Badhte Kadam is a National level campaign for Persons with Disabilities. It is Initiated by The National Trust, Govt. of India, and It was implementing by Blind People's Association (India) in Gujarat. Here is a small movie on BK 2011 in Gujarat.

Tricycle Donation

Blind People's Association (India) arranged tricycles distribution function today. On this occasion Dr. Giraben Vora and Smt. Neeluben were present and interact with beneficiaries. Our Trustees Mr. F.J.Porwal, Smt. Sunitaben Thakor, Dr. Bhushan Punani Mr. Tarak Luhar and Mrs. Mira Shah also present.

Dhairya is a girl with low vision, who studied in a normal school, stood throughout first during schooling, secured 88% in both SSC & HSC. She did her graduation and postgraduation with Sanskrit subject, and stood first in both B.A. and M.A. and achieved 6 gold-medals at university level...We are proud of you Dhairya, you are role-model for all the people with low vision & disabilities.
