On 26th
January, 2002 the Hon. Chief Minister of Gujarat Mr. Narendra Modi laid
the foundation stone of this centre, which is the only centre providing
services to the disabled of earthquake. The land for construction has
been provided revenue free by the Government of Gujarat. The KCRC is a
dream comes true for the disabled people of Kachchh due to the generous
patronage of the Government of Gujarat and a host of national and
international donors and well-wishers. |

Lal Krishna Advani. the Hon. Deputy Prime Minister of India
inaugurating the KCRC at 10.00 a.m. on Wednesday, 9 July, 2003 at
Bhuj. The Guests of Honour were Prof. Mangalbhai Patel, Speaker
Gujarat Legislative Assembly and Mr. Sureshchandra Mehta, Former
Chief Minister of Gujarat in the presence of donors and well wishers
of the centre. |

Multipurpose Charitable Trust (Wagh Bakri Cha Group), Jewish

fund – Leicester, U.K. KCRC is born, it is established and is now a boon
for the people of Kachchh. |
